Womb Bowls

The bowl is symbolic of the feminine energy. Women are the water bearers of the earth.  They bring forth the water in their wombs.  We all come from the womb, from the water.  The Womb Bowls are often used in Anna’s ceremonies, filled with fresh water and flowers, so that the water can be honored, praised, blessed and thanked.

For so long the womb has been a place were women held their grief and pain.  In Anna’s practice, there is a ceremony called “The Rights of the Womb”.  This is a ceremony in which women are released of the pain they carry, The womb’s full potential is restored, which is to create and to give birth to life.  Once the pain is set free from the womb space, there is limitless possibility of what can be created.  The Womb Bowl is symbolic of this process.  The empty bowl is equivalent to the empty or cleared womb ready to be intentionally filled with the power of creation.
